Ok, so as most of you know, my hair is natural. It is very thick and coarse. I often have trouble trying to keep the edges in tack and smooth without using the messy gels. Well thanks to my hairstylist friend Tracee, I now use TIGI Bed Head Hair Stick and it does the trick! It glides on and slicks the edges down, while not creating a yucky mess. Try it out!

Beauty Item: Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

Heeeeeey F.A.M. Fiends!!! Ok, let me just start by saying that I am sooooo upset that I did not know about this miracle product sooner!!! Shot out to J.DEE for putting me on!

Apple Cider Vinegar has A TON of uses, and one of them is treating acne. So, if you suffer from acne and would like to try a natural remedy, you should definitely give organic apple cider vinegar a try!

There are 2 different ways you can use ACV to treat acne:

1) Internally - Dilute 2 tablespoons of ACV in 8oz of water and drink 2-3 times daily. You will notice a difference in your skin immediately (I know I did!)

2) Externally - Mix 1 part ACV to 3 parts water and use a cotton swab to apply to your face. Do this twice a day - once in the morning and once at night. (As an added extra try using aloe vera gel in conjunction with this treatment to treat any acne scars or hyperpigmentation)

You can mostly likely find organic ACV sold in your local grocery store (look in the organic section), or in stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joes. GNC also sells ACV. (I use Bragg - pictured above)

I also used ACV to cure my sinus infection last week!!!
